Mermaidens
Hello! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day! ♡ Yesterday I took advantage of the warmer weather to get some pictures of this outfit - in front of an abandoned trailer near my mom's favorite coffee shop no less!

TIGHTS: c/o Wholesale Dress SHOES: Kohls

This mirrored mermaid necklace was a wonderful gift from Laura of I Love Crafty - and the second I Love Crafty piece I have been fortunate enough to review! I'm floored by how professional, adorable, and detailed her pieces are! This is part of her brand new collection, Ahoy Sailor, which just launched today on her etsy! Isn't it adorable? Just perfect for a mermaid lover such as myself! She also has a brooch version! ♡
This sequined cream sweater was a thrifted find (for only $3! *_*), and I finally found this pink collar on eBay after pining for it after I saw Charlotte from Thoughts from Another Kook wearing one!

And finally, can you believe this skirt!? One of my favorite UK stores, Dahlia, was sweet enough to send it to me! The laser cut eyelet detailing is almost too divine for words - and I'm so in love with the silhouette of skater skirts! I'm already planning more outfits centered around it *_* Dahlia is actually having a giveaway where you can win an entire season of Dahlia clothing - you can find more details here!

Lately I have been imagining up some dream dresses and sketching them out - and I was thinking about turning them into illustrations and sharing them on here! Would that be something that you guys would be interested in seeing? Let me know ♡ Here's hoping you all have a wonderful weekend!
♡,
Kailey

I love the tissue and the design of the skirt, and the shoes are really cute!
I love the skirt! :)
I meant, “you hair is perfect” ;)
You look so dreamy! And that air is just… perfect. :)
This looks so cute! I want this outfit!
WOW!
This looks gorgeous on you. I actually invested in a similar skirt in the early days of this new year which reminds me of the one your wearing, it was a black, laser cut out skater skirt ‘Alicia’, I believe it was called.
I’ve had endless compliments on it. The colour white as mentioned by a few of the ladies above is a risk taker when it comes to building an outfit, especially as it is such a block colour. You’ve teamed it really well with the tights which gives it a quirky twist.
As a bonus you hair colour lifts the outfit to make it brighter so it doesn’t look to pale. xx
When I first saw this, I thought you were wearing a cute pea-coat. Then I looked closer and was stunned by your shirt and skirt! They’re so cute and you somehow managed to get them in the exact same color! :D You are definitely on my list of style icons.
Kailey, I really love thi outfit! White looks really good with your pastel hair color :)
Beautiful as always, Kailey! You full off girlie styles better than anyone else I know x

A soft colour, allways a bit afraid of white, but it is a lovely, and i would consider a purchase, as the design is fantastic

Very nice clothes! I would like to have them all!
I have always been very wary of all white / cream / pale outfits, especially pale tights. But this look is amazing! The Dahlia skirt is gorgeous (like all Dahlia items!) Thanks for inspiring me to try something a bit different. Claire xx
