LFW AW14 | Shows we heart
It was literally breathtaking, London has rocked it again!
This was a brilliant week for British designers as London Fashion Week has once again shown us it's a creative hub on the world stage. The excitement and creativity found here – all with a sense of fun, playfulness and ease.
Here's our favourite shows from London Fashion Week AW14.
Think Spice Girls meets Punk Rock meets mermaid and this is what Ashish AW14 is all about!
Fashion East - Ashley Williams
Metallic cowgirls, cat motifs on knits, oh and how can you resist those super cute oversized jumpsuits!
Inspired by Bora's mother, her life as a teenager at boarding school. Bora Aksu is definitely one of Dahlia's favourites, everything has a collar!
Holly Futton's AW14 collection was inspired by Dziga Vertov’s 1929 silent movie, Man With A Movie Camera. Known for her bold prints and graphics designs, she didn’t fail to disappoint with her latest collection of deco prints.
House of Holland
We love HOH for its twisted take on Laura Ashley-style classics and his trademark sense of fun! Once again, a playful collection everyone wants a piece of.
Lots of lace and ruffles at the romantically inclined Meadham Kirchhoff. We love those oversized Chanel style jacket in dreamy shades, it looked like if they're taken from a wealthy great aunt’s wardrobe!
Simone Rocha is definitely one of our favourite show in LFW. We couldn’t possibly pin a favourite garment down. From structured ruffle mac to semi-transparent embellished dresses, we need it all!
Take a trip to a 5-years-old little girl's dream rodeo. Baby girl pink, ponies and stars - the American rodeo theme works well with the tassels, lace and embellished collars. We've never liked cowgirls as much until now.
