All Dahlia girls LOVE music, so at the beginning of this week we decided that there was no better way to kill the Monday blues than with the dreamy sounds of Lucy Rose.
Lucy is a London girl, so it was a pleasure to watch her play in her home city. The venue was perfect too – just off Southbank, right next to the London Eye. It's a pleasant walk to the venue over Westminster Bridge, admiring the view on the way of course.
Lucy played as part of Udderbelly Festival and the venue couldn’t have been more perfect. Outside were benches that looked like bumper cars, and inside the red and white striped ceiling was majestically high, making you feel as though you were at the circus.
The atmosphere was pretty magical too, as people of all ages looked up at Lucy Rose in awe as she quietly made her way through her set. You could sense her slight nervousness, but this just added to her charm.
Lucy Rose’s music can be described as acoustic folk rock, so if you like the sound of that then head here to check her out. Her debut album titled “Like I Used To” comes out in September, which we are very excited about. Not only that, but her laid back combo of cute shirts and desert boots can only mean one thing – the Dahlia girls have a new style crush!
Love, Dahlia x
