Lovely in Lace
I absolutely love this beautiful lace blouse. In fact when it arrived, I contemplated wearing it as a dress, but standing at 5'9 with reasonably long legs it was definitely verging on unacceptably short! I so envy all of you petite ladies. If you're lucky enough to be of pixie proportions, you'll definitely be able to get away with wearing this Dahlia piece as a dress if the weather ever warms up here in the UK.
This blouse has so many lovely features and it's evident just from handling it that a lot of work and consideration has gone into the design and creation. Firstly, it's longer at the back, meaning it almost floats behind you in quite an elegant, etherial way when you walk. Secondly, the only way I can describe the lace is delicate yet sturdy. I know sturdy isn't exactly the sweetest of words, but it somehow manages to look so beautifully intricate and yet at the same time, I'm not fearful the lace going to get caught on something and tear - which is my normal fear when I wear anything lace! I could go on, but I'll stop now.
I'm sad to say that this is the last Dahlia piece I'll be styling as a girlfriend, but I've enjoyed the time so much. I hope you enjoyed my posts as much as I enjoyed creating them, and you can still find me at my own personal blog, www.arabellag.com.
