Lonely Hearts Club – Single Girls Valentine’s Day

Ok girls, it's alright to admit it. We know all too well that for some of us, Valentine's day is NOT a day to look forward to. Trust us, we are familiar with this feeling. It feels like the whole world is doing something romantically perfect, whilst we're stuck at home doing nothing! Nada, zero, zilch... you get the picture.

BUT do not fear. Our list of Single V Day Activites is sure to keep you busy:

1. Party
Sounds pretty simple, huh? Probably the most obvious solution of them all is to go out. Grab all your single ladies, grab all the pre-drinks you need (psst... we'll let you off if it's a little more than usual!) grab your highest heels and get out! Valentine's day might turn out better than you think...

2. Best Friend Pizza Night
A favourite of ours; Pizza night. If you can't face going out and seeing all those soppy couples, a Pizza night in is the perfect solution. After spending some quality time with a best friend and laughing at ridiculous things that nobody else finds funny, not to mention eating ‘til you’re bursting, we're positive that you would have forgotten all about V day.

3. Retail Therapy
We know you would be lying if you said shopping didn't instantly lift your mood. Enough said!
(Be sure to check out our Love List Collection – each order comes with a FREE Love ring set – and you don’t need a date to wear these babies!)

4. Productivity
Whether it's catching up with homework, cleaning your room or sweating it out at the gym, productivity kills time. The day will be over before you know it! And you'll definitely feel better afterwards. We promise.

5. Movie Night
Sometimes, when you're in a bad mood you just want to be on your own. Stock up on chocolate, stick your comfiest pj’s on, dive under the covers and prepare for the ultimate movie night! Hint: stick to funny or scary. Or even better, both!

Do you have any more suggestions for a Single Girls V Day? We'd love to know!

Love, Dahlia x

  • Ha ha! I love this! It almost makes me want everyday to be Valentines Day…not really, more like it makes me want to eat pizza and watch movies everyday.

  • A friend showed me this for Valentine’s day since I somewhat spent it alone since my boyfriend lives pretty far from me. Le sigh, long distance relationships.

Anyways, ate pizza, watched wonderful movies, went a bit online shopping crazy and overall had an awesome time~!

  • I definitely wasn’t planning to spend valentines day alone at home! Me and my girls went out for the most prestigious of meals – a monster burger of course, and ate chocolates all night singing to feel good tunes. In my opinion, far better than feeling awkward on a date with a lad you hardly know! Xx

  • I made my valentines very productive by going to the gym, catching up on homework. I also caught o with some of my good friends and baked some dessert, sipped on a little wine, and laughed way too much on our past adventures. Not bad for a singles valentines.
