End of an Era
Hello everyone, so life has changed for me all in one day.
University deadline was yesterday and now it's all over, 3 long years of extreme hard work and fun! Over the 3 years I have met my boyfriend Christopher who I intend on spending my life with, I have met some amazing friends, creative and extremely talented people and hopefully get a good job out of it (not forgetting the huge debt I now owe)!
It has been a roller coaster at times but we definitely celebrated in style and finished with a bang! We spent the day lounging in the sunshine, after signing out our work. The pub in Portsmouth is my favorite spot in town, with pretty blossom coming out in the summer time and bunting hanging just right. It was the perfect chilled setting to start the day. We ended up going home to get ready, but I stayed in my Dahlia dress the whole day! It is the perfect little number for an all day celebration. Fair to say we all got a bit merry on alcohol but after months of hard work it was really needed.
This white beauty was delivered to me last week, and I knew yesterday was the perfect opportunity to wear it. It's pretty and delicate without being to 'flouncy' so can be worn day or night. What really makes it though is the stunning buckle cross over back straps, which adds a quirky touch to a summer dress. That's what is so great about Dahlia, they only usually have several designs at one time but each one beautifully designed with delicate detailing and subtle charm. I know this dress will be one of my staples in the next few months!
