It's the time of the year again, the London Fashion Week! Just like every season, we have picked some of our favourite collections to show you... Here we go!
We are all crazy cat ladies at Dahlia, we think those super cute kittens have totally stolen the show! Apart from the uber cool feline t-shirt and embroidered pieces, we also loved the contrast of the sci-fi metallic fabrics with the girly ruffles.
With Noosha Fox (the singer of the British-based pop band Fox in the mid-70s) as the muse of Holly Fulton's SS'14 collection, there's a fresh 70s vibe in the air - sideswept hair, printed denim pinafores, soft geometric, pale tones and Swedish Hasbeens worn throughout the show.
Citing Nobuyoshi Araki as her inspiration, PVC, garter socks and lots of sheer panels are used in the collection. The heavy use of pearls, forming tightly bound coils around models necks - reminiscent of Araki’s strapped and bound subjects. We particularly loved the pearl-rimmed knee-high stockings and we guarantee that they will be on the top of every fashion victim's must have list next season.
Sister by Sibling
The SS'14 show kicked off with a model wearing the shortest pair of cut-offs we’ve ever seen and a pink "Lead Sister" sweatshirt. From monochrome crochet skirt suits, to oversized gingham sweater dresses, the design trio showed that wool is just as versatile for summer as it is winter.
Fashion East - Ryan Lo
How can you not fall in love with the dressing-up box, Sylvanian Family inspired, sugarcoated collection by the Hong Kong-born designer Ryan Lo? From piglets to playhouses this little collection was the definition of cuteness.
